McKay was drafted as a first baseman by TB. The guys were asking him how he felt n stuff. He looked a little down about being done pitching. Who knows what will happen tho.

I wish the media would air a better representation of the league instead of just constantly feeding us Boston, New York and Chicago.

Trout is playing phenomenal baseball and hardly anyone ever talks about it.

I try to listen to a radio broadcast of a game I'm not watching when I watch a game, one thing that's common on Sunday's among a lot of broadcasts is the play by play guy saying "if it's Sunday that means it's Boston vs. NYY on Sunday night baseball"

True. And it's annoying. So many good, young players around the league right now that nobody knows about.

The league doesn't do themselves any favors by force feeding everyone Boston and NY. With the Yankees team now I will watch the game just because they are so impressive, but normally that matchup is pretty played out and I don't bother.

I thought I was the only guy that listened to random ballgames. My wife thinks I'm a loon because I will listen to a game like TB vs KC while im mowing the lawn. Haha.

If your wife doesnt think your a loon I sure as hell do. I have to turn the sound off when I watch a Royals game because Rex Hudler is the absolute worst commentator ever.

I was just using them as an example. I used to love listening to Vin Scully even though I hated the Dodgers.

I will say I think the Reds are one of the best radio listens around. Marty Brennamen kills it.

I think that's inevitable.
I'm not so sure. Not because he's not talented but they have some studs in the minors to fill out the outfield. If Judge keeps up any semblance of this season's performance they'll probably look to spend the money elsewhere. Machado would be my bet but with Torres possibly getting called up soon and being moved to 3rd, I'm not even sure they'll go too hard after him.

A lot of fun. Just go to The Banks. It's a strip of bars directly outside of the stadium. Holy Grail is fun but can get very crowded. Yardhouse has outstanding beers and a ton of Tv's. The Morelein Lager House has good beers and great food - more of a restauant feel inside but they do have an open area outside with beers before the games.

If those are all packed there are 3 or 4 other places to try. Jefferson Social is OK. Tin Roof is a younger crowd but usually pretty crowded before games as well.

All are on the same block directly outside the stadium.

So Boston then. One of the market whores will grab him.

I do agree that there is oversaturation, but if the Angels were any good I think they'd be talking about Trout more. They should be singing his praises every chance they get; the guy seems to be the second coming of Mantle without the substance abuse and crazy injuries. He really is nothing short of historic.

Hunter Greene

We'll see if he pans out. I've heard good things.

Kind of risky taking a RHP out of high school though.
They're saying they are going to let him hit and play shortstop as well, which I think is a good idea. Let his game decide where he ultimately plays.
