He would drive me absolutely CRAZY with his idiotic moves. People ragged on him for destroying young pitcher's arms - but that was the least of my concerns when he was managing the Reds.
I really can't understand how he has a job, & I don't understand what the hell the Nats are thinking when they hire managers. They went from a guy who tried to be a drill sergeant to millionaires to an idiot.

Dusty had a reliever warming up 1 out into the 6th, but gio Gonzalez made it out of the inning

Is it pretty much accepted that Charlie Blackmon is the best leadoff hitter in MLB?

He is leading the league in Hits (88), Triples (8) and Total Bases (165). Currently hitting .338 with 15 HR and an almost unbelievable 53 RBI. His OPS is 1.018 (9th in MLB).

During the off-season there were rumors that the Rockies were looking to move him but valued him pretty high and were asking a lot in return. Nobody bit, and now Colorado is sitting in 1st place in the NL West with a 41-23 record (They finished 2016 at 75-87). Blackmon, currently making $7.3mm, is arbitration eligible next season and, depending on what deal is struck at that time, will become an unrestricted free agent in 2019.

He also sort of looks like a homeless person:

The Yanks won 14-3 today. Judge went yard twice, and Castro and Sanchez joined the party as well.

In the past five games, the Yankees have scored 55 runs while allowing 9.

We'd have a Triple Crown winner if the season ended today. And he's a rookie.

Judge's first shot measured 496 feet - the longest HR since ESPN started tracking distances in 2009.

On Saturday he hit a HR with an exit velocity of 121.1 mph - the fastest that's been recorded this year. And that was from a pitch that was 84.5 mph.

What he's doing right now is pretty remarkable.

He's playing ridiculous and now Sanchez is back and swinging freely for the first time this season so it's just going to get even nuttier. You have to get to the 7/8 hitter in the lineup before you get to someone with single digit homeruns. The crazy part is that they're still lacking production from the corners.

The guy that led the NL in HRs last season bats in the 8th/9th spot for the Yanks.

Mlb draft is today. Hey Hauler @Alco Hauler get this, Twins pick #1, Reds pick #2. I usually dont pay attention to the mlb draft but I gotta now.

Hey Wild @Wild how good is Brendan McKay? (plays for Louisville) I saw him on TV and they were saying he can pitch or hit at a first round level.

LMAO Mark Darosa on MLB Network. They had a graphic of Derek Jeter on the left, and Michael Strahan on the right. They mashed em together and it turned into Aaron Judge.

MLB Draft is such a crap shoot. I don't do too much reading up on the guys. I just wait to see who the Reds took and then check them out.

Hunter Green is a name I keep hearing.

Greene is going to be a superstar, in my opinion. He's an interesting case though, because the team who picks him will have to decide where to play him.

He throws 95-102 from the mound, and commands 3 different pitches. He also absolutely rakes, with outstanding power and plays stellar shortstop. I think whatever they choose will end up working out, because his work ethic and history if training is pretty remarkable.

It's going to be interesting as to what position his team chooses, and if a team has the balls to use him out of the bullpen while still having him play defense and hit. This is one of the best chances we've ever had of seeing a legitimate 2-way major leaguer, but I don't know if a team will be willing to risk his arm on defense if they use him on the mound at all. My guess, since I've heard the most scouts mention it, is that he will be a starting pitcher. On the surface, I'd think about starting him in the minors as a shortstop and seeing how that pans out. You can always move him to the mound, and you saved his arm (in a sense) while trying him as a position player.

Seems like a good kid too. Should be an exciting guy to watch in the coming years.

He's one of the best college players in the past decade. National Player of the Year, First Team All-American as a 1B and Pitcher. Fastball in the mid 90's, sick curve ball and command of his pitches. Power hitter with a .337 average and a good fielder at 1B.

And he's a high character individual. The Twins would be making a great pick.

Yeah well, Oregon State has arguably the best pitcher in the NCAA right now, and he's a child molester.

McKay just won his third straight John Olerud award.

The award is for the nation's top two-way player.

This year he also won the following:

ACC Player of the Year
Baseball America National Player of the Year
Collegiate Baseball Newspaper National Player of the Year

Fuck that guy from Oregon St.

There's also a high school Senior named Jordon Adell that is likely going in the Top 15 tonight. He attends Louisville Ballard high school and is a major prospect. Big time power hitter with a cannon for an arm from the outfield.

I wonder if we take McKay. Twins are cheap. Signability comes in to play with stingy ass Minnesota. We got a new GM named Thad that helped build Cleveland's world series team last year. He seems like a bright guy. Im sure he will do the right thing. Im watching right now.

I like the kid from Vanderbilt. He throws a good FB/Curve.

The top 2 on the Reds list are reportedly McKay or Greene. So they'll get one of those guys.
