Don't see many Arab mass killers get classified as lone wolves, even though most work alone.
We had an Arab guy walk up the front steps of parliament shooting people. It was a Conservative government at the time. He was a "Lone wolf" the Pulse nightclub shooting was by an Arab, he too was described as a "Lone Wolf"

"Lone Wolf" Domestic Terror are two key terms going to be used over and over again in the news to stir up the fear.

Soon you will see Dian Finestein, Nancy Pelosi, John McCain, harry Reid, Chuck Schumer, and the other usual cast of characters we've seen come out demanding guns be taken away from the people.

Within a week, you'll see the Same group of celebs rolled out in Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Mylie Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Jay Z, Alicia keys, Katie perry etc. come out with their propaganda message to ban guns.

Add in some bullshit social media blitz on twitter-Facebook.

Taking away the guns is a key part of taking away the last remaining freedoms Americans have..this is he Grand takeover for the new world order that started long ago but was accelerated on 9/11.

Won't be surprised when the media labels this "Lone Wolf" an extreme Christian - Conspiracy Theorist who was a right wing Patriot that stood up for he Constitiuon ....because in the big game...those in power want to make the average America. Look like a "Domestic Terrorist"...

Heard some of the audio from the shooting. I can't even imagine experiencing something like that.

The debates on gun control are going to be crazy going forward.

Not many folks should have access to that type of artillery as it is.
This was going to be my original post but I don't want to get into "stats show that this isn't related" type argument as I don't know the numbers. Having said that I can't see any sound reasoning for a civilian to own an automatic weapon with that much ammo. It usually is justified with "because I can" or "it's my right". As a Canadian I will never understand Americans love for thier gun culture. It seems quite crazy tbh.

I agree. He was using a fully automatic weapon which is already illegal. Both sides can use this as an example to support their position on the issue.

As in one side saying don't make them accessible as things like this will happen and the other side saying these things happen so I need to protect myself?

I thought that was true as well, but heard on the radio this morning there is a path to legally owning an automatic rifle in the US.

"Per Newsweek,Nevada's lax gun laws includethat firearms owners don't need licenses, don't need to register their guns, and can own as many as they like. The outlet also reported that "automatic assault weapons and machine guns are also legal in the state as long as they are registered and are possessed in adherence to federal law, according to the National Rifle Association." In addition, gun-owners in the state may carry weapons openly without a permit and can also get a license to carry concealed. Guns with high-capacity magazines are allowed."

Precisely. Many of the "gun nuts" out there support the laws we have in place because restricting gun ownership does nothing but take the guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens. The criminals will still find a way to get them.

Full auto guns were banned federally for public sale in (I believe) 1985. That makes them absurdly expensive, so even if they're legal there's a huge barrier to entry.

Ffs... I literally got gut rot watching that. I feel horrible for that man and his entire family as they will be bombarded with bs until those fucks get something they feel is worth running with. Every word and a room with be under the microscope hunting for a headline.
He’s just as shocked as we are. Luckily we haven’t made any comments to any official media outlet or we’d be in the same position.

Nevada is on one of the scale and places like DC and Maryland are on on the opposite end. We joke about how everyone in Texas gets a gun when they turn 10 but they don't have shit on what's capable in Nevada.

Again I don't know stats/numbers but I just can't see that what you posted is true. To say it does nothing but the above seems wrong.
