Steve Bannon pocketed almost $1 million in partnership with Harvey Weinstein
Breitbart News, the right-wing conservative outlet run by former top Trump adviser Steve Bannon, has been attacking Democrats for their past connections to disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein. But according to a report from the Associated Press, Bannon himself pocketed hundreds of thousands of dollars from a joint business adventure with Weinstein.

Since The New York Times‘ bombshell report exposing Weinstein’s years of sexual predatory behavior, Weinstein’s penchant for donating to progressive groups and politicians, most notably the Clintons, has been seized upon by Breitbart and other pro-Trump media figures as proof of an alliance between Washington liberals and corrupt Hollywood elites. Since the revelations, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have spoken out in condemnation of Weinstein’s alleged sexual predation.

Back in 2004, Bannon was the chairman of a company that distributed DVDs and he joined up with the now-defunct Weinstein-owned company Genius Products. The AP reports that Bannon was awarded a $500,000 consulting contract the Weinstein Company, along with a $200,000 bonus and $1 million in stock options.

Since the story broke, Breitbart has featured a blog promoting live updates on the scandal with headlines targeting top Democrats like Clinton and Obama for their past associations with Weinstein, even accusing other outlets of ignoring the story.

But transcripts provided by the AP show Bannon radiating with enthusiasm over his partnership with the Weinstein company back in 2004.

“We are extremely honored to be in business with the new Weinstein Company,” Bannon told investors in a conference call, adding that the Weinsteins “have the most impressive track record in the film industry” and that “Bob and Harvey are two of the most prolific studio heads in the history of Hollywood.”

The AP’s report further highlights the hypocrisy of the pro-Trump right’s tactic of using Weinstein to attack Democrats. President Trump’s penchant for treating women like sexual cattle has been public knowledge for years, and was solidified by his own words. Even then, his base catapulted him to presidency.

If silence and association is complicity in the case of Weinstein, then it’s even more so for Trump.

Watching Harvey Weinstein Fall, Trump Accusers Feel Disappointed
Temple Taggart, a former Miss Utah, was a 21-year-old pageant contestant when, she said, Trump repeatedly kissed her on the mouth without her permission. She was thrilled to see Weinstein fired, she said, but it reminded her of how “sad” she was that “they brushed it all under the rug” when it came to the accusations against Trump.

“That was so disappointing,” she said. After she spoke out, she said, she was pilloried on social media, with people accusing her of making up lies in order to swing the election. “It makes you realize why women don’t come forward,” she said.

Speaking of sexual assaults...

Trump Given A Subpoena For All Documents Relating To Assault Allegations
A high-stakes legal showdown is brewing for President Donald Trump, as a woman who said he groped her has subpoenaed all documents from his campaign pertaining to “any woman alleging that Donald J. Trump touched her inappropriately.”

The previously unreported subpoena was issued in March but entered into the court file last month. The White House did not respond to a request for comment, nor did Trump’s attorney.

Summer Zervos, a former contestant on the Trump’s reality TV show The Apprentice, accused Trump of kissing and grabbing her when she went to his bungalow at the Beverly Hills Hotel in 2007 to discuss a possible job at the Trump Organization. After Zervos made the accusation last October, just weeks before the election, Trump denied her accusation and called it a lie.

She responded by suing him for defamation. As part of that suit, her lawyers served a subpoena on his campaign, asking that it preserve all documents it had about her.

They also asked for “all documents” concerning other women who have accused Trump of groping them, including Jessica Leeds, Mindy McGillivray, Rachel Crooks, Natasha Stoynoff, Temple Taggart, Kristin Anderson, Cathy Heller, Jill Harth, and Jessica Drake. The subpoena seeks “all documents concerning any accusations that were made during Donald J. Trump’s election campaign for president, that he subjected any woman to unwanted sexual touching and/or sexually inappropriate behavior.” Last year, Trump tweeted a blanket denial, saying, “Nothing ever happened with any of these women.”

The subpoena did not make its way into the court file until last month, when Zervos’ attorneys, including the high-profile lawyer Gloria Allred, filed it as part of motion disputing a contention from Trump’s legal team that her subpoena was too broad.

Trump's lawyers have sought to have the suit dismissed or at least delayed until he is out of office. His lawyers argued that he is protected from civil lawsuits in state court while in office. They also made a number of other claims in a July filing, among them that the entire suit is politically motivated and that Allred is using it to dredge up ammunition to impeach him. As for the subpoena, they argued that it is "far reaching" and "seeks wholly irrelevant informationintended solely to harass the president."

Last month, Zervos’s attorneys rejected that accusation and provided the subpoena as evidence.

Trump’s response to Zervos’ motion is due Oct. 31, according to Zervos’ attorney, Gloria Allred. In a statement Allred said: “We are hopeful that the court will deny President Trump’s motion to dismiss, so that we may move forward with discovery and obtain relevant documents and testimony.”

Everyone knew about this guy for how long? And just recently he's in the spotlight for it? Why was everyone covering for him for so long and why is he the sacrificial lamb now?

^ yeah good question. The sudden MSM bandwagon is THICK, all in collusion, #1 story I'm even seeing infographics at my bank, lol

For certain there are a hundred other major stories going on right now, but for some reason the MSM have all decided to focus on this one. ie; here we are talking about it, lol :D

possibilities(?);

1. this is sealing off a leak to pedo shit.
2. Gay4Longo's lead about the anti-vaccine documentary w/ Deniro
3. To actually start a witch-hunt on sexual assault cases that can be used against whoever MSM wants (Trump?)
4. This is the beginning of a 'drain the swamp' attack on pedos, ie; Harvey will squeal and start the avalanche
5. ?

Or, are we really as a society truly collectively outraged over hot women who let themselves get fucked with to get famous?

Or am I being paranoid, and this is just a really hot scoop right now that will bring in ratings and that's all?
