General Alec Baldwin fired the gun that killed one and injured another in an accident set of his film "Rust."

Why would they have to recreate it? Wasn't it filmed? I would think you'd be able to see him pulling the trigger.
Alec Baldwin has basically said he gives zero fucks and someone is to blame but not him ffs. Hope he gets his shit pushed in...

When I was in the navy, the real navy, it was made clear early in training that if you point a gun at someone you will get a fucking whack.regardless of rank (there were officers present) and encouraged the same from us. We point guns at people if we are gonna kill em. That's it

Only fire aimed shots. Only fire to kill. You have to justify every bullet fired. If you don't need to kill em then you don't fire, just go and beat em up or something.

Rules of firearm safety are different on a movie set.

Baldwin was not negligent as an actor, but might be negligent as a producer...

Yeaaaaa I get it they are making a movie it's different. But why the fuck where there ever live rounds in it? Happened to Bruce Lee's kid too. Which dumbass keeps putting actual bullets in?

If Alec Baldwin the actor knew that Alec Baldwin the producer was throwing caution to the wind. It would suggest a level of negligence on the part of both of them.

Brandon Lee was killed by a dummy round that lodged in the barrel...which then became a projectile when a blank was fired through the same revolver.

Not killed by live round

He sure did good for having no live rounds loaded.

it's been awhile since i read about it, but IIRC they played out the whole scene and thought he was just acting or making a joke.
It's was a minute or two, and he basically died from blood loss. So if it had been a situation like Baldwin or that other actor who shot himself in the head with a blank and killed himself, where they knew right away something was fucked, he might have lived.
