The Grand Daddy Purple arrived. I'm a little disappointed in the lack of taste, or lack of strong taste I guess, but the effect is impressive. Heavy indica stone with a bit of a giggly, social vibe. I wouldn't share this one with amateurs.
The kush x blueberry is about a week and a half from chop and the Kool Bloom seems to be increasing the aroma as well as the size of the buds. A really nice grape kool-aide kind of smell is starting to develop. Between the inorganic salt nutes, the coco medium and the ventilation system, I don't often notice much of a smell before harvest, so I'm optimistic.
The blue cush autoflower has been fun. I've got it in a little pot and reservoir setup that I first tried last year, and it's growing like mad. It's short and stupidly bushy. I just put it in its own cabinet under a mixed spectrum of off the shelf LED bulbs with their covers removed and I could probably watch it growing. I've adjusted the various tie-downs 2 or 3 times today to train the branches to fill the space and every time I look ,it's grown visibly and the tied down branches are already bent back up to the light. So far this plant has surpassed expectations.
I like smoking autos as they tend to have a higher CBD content than photos, due to the ruderalis heritage, so I may keep this little cab just for running autoflowers.
So much to do and learn, never enough time.
