Don’t forget the volunteer/forced bag check-in because they run out of overhead room every time, the two hour delay I had today, and the fucktards that jump up and try to push forward despite me all prepped to go - little Asian dude from a row or two back sprinted past me. I get to fly 5 hours back on Friday and Saturday an 8hour - yay me!
Do you still have to go to the counter? Mobile boarding pass and most airports let you print bag passes and drop without talking to anyone. Takes like 1-2 mins total.
Ok I have a new one from this trip. People getting on elevators who don't need them leaving the crippled and the baby stroller pushers to have to wait. Wtf.
I have to fly again in two weeks so I am not looking forward to that. Atlanta of all places....
People suck, they are modern day Costanzas

I could go on……
I've driven 20+ hours straight. Way better than any flight over 4 hours.
We were just coming in to Chicago today and the flight attendant called and said a woman was sick and throwing up in the aft bathroom. A minute or so later, the LAV SMOKE waring alarm went off. She was vaping.
I saw 28 survivors, 6 critical.
This is why if I'm flying coach I always lock down the back.

I honestly don't think it matters, it all depends what broke on the plane. Normal landings the rear touches down first, thats what a pilot will try to do. Engine failure they will glide to try a normal landing. Structural problems it's just try not to die and do your best essentiallyI always went for the wing section when I used to fly, figured that was the strongest, if my wife ever talks me into it again I am going right to the tail.
Rock and brews at lax is pretty expensive. I only have one beer tho because I dont want to be hammered on a plane and when I get off the plane I probably going to a bar anyway.Either flying has been good to me, or taking the bus taught me that I shouldn't take it for granted. I have experienced a couple of 48 hours bus rides and that is the worst. One time a guy shit on the bathroom floor and that was that for the rest until we switched buses. The bus sucks. My last trip on Delta was pretty great except the drinks were super expensive at the airport.
Airports are expensive, if you're flying multiple legs get a club pass for the free booze or have a credit card that allows free access to clubs it's totally worth it if you fly a lot (e.g.- AMEX Platinum $650 annual fee but you get Centurian access, TSA precheck or Global entry, clear, $200 airline credit, $200 hotel credit, and a bunch of other stuff free- many other similar cars out there)Rock and brews at lax is pretty expensive.
