I haven't flown since 1996 - I'm not afraid but I have constant nightmares about crash landing...

My last flight was 15 fucking hours coming back from Italy.

It’s become a real hassle and very unenjoyable - I always joke that whenever I’m in the air, some bad plane things happen - well, this year left Canada for Spain on Dec 23rd and returning in a couple of days - 2 crashes in Asia and a crash landing in Halifax during this time. One time as I was boarding, front page of the newspaper they were handing out was a major plane crash - I should start tracking these things…..

Legit you lose a day to travel on any vacation.

...and I mean a day to go and a day to return.

Oh, gee. You lose a day to get across the country? You should drive or take the train or a horse. Much faster.

The entire process. From TSA, to the airlines, to the passengers. All of it. 9 times out of 10, it’s just a miserable fucking experience. I’m connecting in Chicago right now, on my way to Omaha and I’m already over this trip. Should have sucked it up and driven here.
I hate all of that shit and it's terrifying for me. I don't know if it's claustrophobia, or control issues, or what but fuck flying. I'd rather take amtrak.

The company that I work for now has two jets and it’s a total different, and enjoyable, experience. Literally pull to the regional airport, board the plane, take off. No TSA, no airlines, no 300 pounder sitting next to you. If I have to fly commercial, I’ll drive anything within 10-11 hrs of my house. I hate it that much.

Helicopter isn't meant to fly. It's witchcraft lol. The amount of engineering it takes to keep them in the air is insane, very different from a plane.. You could just take a couple wings, strap them to your back and jump off a mountain and you'd fly lol.
Agreed, when leaking hydraulic fluid is considered normal, there's a problem.

Ive only flown once, to Hawaii. I was around 10. I dont remember hardly shit about the flight. Wasn't scared at all but I remember my brother giving me some gum so my ears don't pop and it worked cause they popped and unpopped.
