Slow cooker short ribs

Start with your locally raise Texas beef...

Cut your short ribs into pieces and heat a skillet with some butter. Salt and pepper the beef and brown each side using a set of tongs.

Starting to brown...

Get all your ingredients together.
Beef broth, red wine (this stuff is terrible but it's good to use on cooking), Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onions, fresh rosemary.

Put it all in the slow cooker and set your short ribs in there.

Let it go for 4 to 6 hours on low until the meat is tender.
I can't get on board with them when I know you have a smoker.

Wait until I boil some steaks in the next couple days. You'll disown me until I can finally pull a brisket out which I might do soon

This is everything at the moment. What is it about a global pandemic that makes me want to cook stews and comfort food like this so much?
I bloody love short ribs, and so do my hips.

Baby was up at 330 AM
Work sucked
Tonight's dinner is super fancy. Frozen pizza. But I class it up a bit with some Italian seasoning before putting them in the oven.

Look at that gray coloring. Beautiful and tasty. So delicious looking.

Do both sides in smoking hot pan with some butter and out they come.

Makes me feel like a real man to have these perfect steaks that took a lot of skill to do.

Not. Look at those finished steaks. I'd serve that to you and you would say, "my God this is the best steak I've ever had. A perfect Texan steak"

Hey, Doc. 425 degrees in the oven for 7 minutes followed by a sear. Look into it.

Thats incorrect as well.
We smoke our steaks at about 200-225 degree until an internal temperature of 115. We use hickory splits, obviously. And then we sear over a 600+ degree CHARCOAL grill, 45-60 seconds each side.
Thats how a steak is properly cooked like an American.

Time to evolve, bro. I don't have 6 hours to cook a steak that can be done to absolute measurable perfection in 10 minutes.
