Personally I'm not worried about a new strain. 5% of the population not getting protection from the vaccine should probably be garnering at least some attention though.
i'm more concerned with the ability of the virus to mutate in ways that make it more dangerous, if even only marginally more dangerous. I can't help but think that this new strain would probably not even be a thing if the US and UK weren't so ineffective in their containment of the original strain.
