I wonder if it’s at all related to the petition to remove Newsom, which now has almost enough signatures to make it on the ballot. Or it could be related to the study by the Stanford researchers that said they were unable to find an impact from the lockdown measures. California is already super liberal, so I doubt it had anything to do with trying to hurt Trumps image in California. It seems more like just a bunch of people who don’t really know what they’re doing fumbling through a complicated situation.
