Fauci is holding firm and doubling down. There's a benefit to sanitation and masks and the benefit is nowhere near people have pretended it to be for months now. The problem is when it's publicly acknowledged it paints them into yet another corner they'll try to lie their way out of.
This is so Italy.Distracted nurse gives woman 6 doses of COVID vaccine in a single shot
Italian hospital apologizes for lapse on a busy day, but says the young woman has shown no adverse reaction to the overdose of the Pfizer vaccine.www.cbsnews.com
I agree with this I was just stating how odd it is to me hearing people brag about the doses they got like it's a competition of some kind. Also people like CNN's Hall Monitor Brian "Mr Potato Head" Stelter actually complaining that some of the talking heads over at Fox News haven't posted selfies of themselves getting vaccinated...That's a little weird but posting your vaccination, especially as a public figure, is absolutely normal and a good way to give confidence to those that risk/benefit numbers won't influence.
"If my leader won't get it, why would I??" is both a common, but also reasonable reaction.
who am I insulting?
Well, seeing as you're pretty clearly addressing me...Stop voting for, and listening to, the people who lie to you and fuck you for their own benefit.

"once it escapes the lab, it's no longer 'research'...so our gain of function research could not be the involved in an outbreak."

Seems like all is legit in CoronaLand
I didn't catch that kind of thing in the video at all. It's just fauci repeating over and over after everything Paul says that they didn't fund gain of function research. He also said at one point that he doesn't support it."once it escapes the lab, it's no longer 'research'...so our gain of function research could not be the involved in an outbreak."
- Fauci, basically.
Just for reference, Fauci says he doesn't support it, but also this is a thing that happened:I didn't catch that kind of thing in the video at all. It's just fauci repeating over and over after everything Paul says that they didn't fund gain of function research. He also said at one point that he doesn't support it.
Was there something else that he said outside of that video that implied what you're saying? I haven't really been following everything super closely because I rarely click on videos.
sorry, wasn't trying to be obtuse. I was just making a snide comment about how Fauci is debating semantics. "We weren't developing a super-virus, therefore we didn't do GoF." He sees the narrative slipping away, and now you're getting some of the fangs behind the 'genteel doctor' schtick. Those are the fangs that got him his own department 6 years after finishing his residency and joining NIH.I didn't catch that kind of thing in the video at all. It's just fauci repeating over and over after everything Paul says that they didn't fund gain of function research. He also said at one point that he doesn't support it.
Was there something else that he said outside of that video that implied what you're saying? I haven't really been following everything super closely because I rarely click on videos.

some of us have been pointing this out since last February when Daszak and his cronies published their "no never impossible lab origin" letter.
wrong. This is just natural reflation. From March 18, 2020
