The bigger issue about this situation in particular is that it's a rally, with no precautions, taking place at a venue where everyone is so healthy that they're passing out and having to be removed because standing and walking is too difficult of a task for them.Saying numbers in FL are rising is disingenuous. If you look at pure case numbers, yes, this past week we were up about 10% compared to the week before.
But our positivity rate (a more accurate metric as the number of reported test results varies day to day and week to week) for the week before last and the past week has been 4.44% and 4.75%, respectively. That's a slight increase but both of those numbers are still good.
Don't get me wrong. The governor has reopened the entire state to nearly pre-covid levels, so we will see rising numbers eventually. We're just not seeing them yet.
Can't positivity rate be misleading depending on testing criteria? We've hit 2.6 here, but until last week we were basically testing anyone with a pulse. Our positivity rate in March was 10% but in March we were only testing people with multiple symptoms.Saying numbers in FL are rising is disingenuous. Sure it can but we've been testing anyone (i.e. no one has to be symptomatic to get tested) since at least May.Can't positivity rate be misleading depending on testing criteria?
Positive PCR only indicates a positive result for any of 5 human carried coronavirusesCan't positivity rate be misleading depending on testing criteria? Oh, then I think you're fucked, mate.Sure it can but we've been testing anyone (i.e. no one has to be symptomatic to get tested) since at least May.
Cases and positivity rate are on the increase.
Cases about 10% week to week. Positivity rate about 0.31%.Cases and positivity rate are on the increase.
Where's your ICU capacity, and how many ICU patients you folks got?Cases about 10% week to week. Positivity rate about 0.31%.
I'm not concerned.........yet.
Welp, my father in law and step mother in law have been exposed to covid, they were supposed to come out tomorrow. That's no longer happening. Good job guys.....
Why am I saying good job, well they got exposed, at a funeral for a family member of his wife who died of covid..... And people weren't taking it seriously.
Our chances of dying are 1/1.Welp, my father in law and step mother in law have been exposed to covid, they were supposed to come out tomorrow. That's no longer happening. Good job guys.....

I was exposed today without knowing & have had a terrible headache.
I am laid out.
When I found out, I went into my garden, grabbed apples, cukes, ginger, and juiced them with garlic.
Took 3mg C, 5000D, 50 Zinc, NAC, B6, Multi, and others.
Lentil soup, ginger tea, ginger tea....
Winded just walking.
honestly I would prefer to live in those states right now
Derphonestly I would prefer to live in those states right now
Not that I don’t think that there are vulnerable people that can have a severe case, but every single person I know who has tested positive has had a mild case that sounds like a normal cold that happens every year.
Yeah. A week after this;

WutRiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight at the bottom.
'Prof Paul Hunter, from the University of East Anglia, said the study was "very concerning" because of the small gap between the two infections, and the severity of the second.
"Given the fact that to date over 37 million people have had the infection, we would have expected to have heard of many more incidents if such very early reinfections with severe illness were common.
"It is too early to say for certain what the implications of these findings are for any immunisation programme. But these findings reinforce the point that we still do not know enough about the immune response to this infection."'
I feel like Hunters quotes need to be on full view.
Rather than the pedophile defending broadcasting company's fear mongering.

Great Barrington Declaration and Petition
As infectious disease epidemiologists and public health scientists we have grave concerns about the damaging physical and mental health impacts of the prevailing COVID-19 policies, and recommend an approach we call Focused Protectiongbdeclaration.org
