Hope Nobody gets hurt, but it fucks up your infrastructure majorly, so reactionist buffoon thinks again about the climate of the globe.
So you're hoping me and my family's quality of life is majority impacted bc you have beef with someone else.

You need counseling bro

I rather have a little damage now than Armageddon in the future. It's not about beef, it's about preserving the planet.

And right now your country is going full on ahead to be an irresponsible, egoistic, and short-sighted dipshit, in my opinion.

So yeah, nobody deserves damage like that, but there is gonna be damage anyway, and maybe something positive can come of it.

The people who take a single moment in time to state their case about the "climate of the globe" are the "reactionist buffoons".

Deadliest US Hurricanes:

1900 Galveston - 8000 deaths
1928 Okeechobee - 2500 deaths
2005 Katrina - 1500 deaths
1893 saw (2) hurricanes that killed about 1000 people each

***

Hopefully people pay attention to the warnings and get the hell out of Dodge.

And how were the warning systems, houses, and preparations around 1900?
It's hard to compare, really.

I'm not even arguing that climate change is the cause of this, I'm only saying I hope it changes your approach.

It won't. Nor should it. There is no correlation.

Maybe not, but does that matter to Trump?
Why do I have to explain this even? :D
Are you asking me if he is smart enough to know that a single devastating hurricane has nothing to do with the global climate argument? I don't know if he is or not.

He's pretty smart though. He says so all the time. o_O

You don't have to. I already did. ;)
So a rise in the temperature of the Earth's oceans is not at all connected to the potential for stronger hurricanes, which strengthen in warmer water?

Hurricanes have been happening forever. That's all I'm saying.
But but 91 octane fuel and bonfires and shit.

Not to mention they only happen in certain places.

How many hurricanes does China and India have?

They don't even have toilet seats there

So if the states that get hit by hurricanes got rid of their toilet seats they'd be good? That's stretching the butterfly effect pretty far, but I like the theory.

You would have much fewer toilet seats, but the ones you did have would be much larger

Its all the extra wind that passes through them, it resonates within the pipes creating a shockwave

It is much safer for humanity to shit a la Ido Portal.

Vacancies Atop Key Hurricane Response Agencies Raise Questions As Harvey Approaches: As Hurricane Harvey approaches Texas, the White House has faced questions about vacancies at the top of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). DHS, which oversees the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Coast Guard, has been without a director since John Kelly joined the White House as chief of staff, although Kelly's former deputy has taken the role as acting secretary since Kelly's departure. Trump has not yet nominated a head of the NOAA. Trump's nominees for deputy directors at FEMA have not been confirmed.
