Well hell, of the 13 seasons Jordan was in the playoffs, Scottie Pippen was there with him for 11 of them, so that's a pretty meaningless statistic.

Lebron has more of a load? Are we talking about the same guy who ran off and created a super team with his all-star buddies for 2 of his championships?

"Lebron can win titles with just about any set of players"

Obviously not true, because he's been swept twice in the finals now.

Like OP stated, Jordan is 6 for 6 in the finals. Lebron is what, 3 for 9 now? No, obviously he can't win with just about any set of players.

LOL, you can't bash a guy for getting to the finals and not winning doofus, MJ played 16 years, that means he was only in the finals 6 times in16 yhears, and got bounced 10 times before even getting there

Lebron in 15 seasons has been to 9 finals

Also, at the end of the day< lebron never played iwth anyone as great as pip, wade bosh K love kyrie, no where near Pip's level, closes is wade.

Lebron will never be on the level of Jordan and Kareem because he doesn't have the substance or character that they do.

Jordan was and is a great man. And when you talk about Kareem, truly a class act: devout Muslim, jazz record collector, genuine human being.

Lebron is a whining prima donna who only looks out for #1.

oh my God, listen to yourself

Maybe you should take your own advice. Pro sports are based on WINNING - of COURSE you can bash a guy for losing when it really matters lol. What a ridiculous thing to say!

The Raptors had an amazing regular season and fired the coach. Why? Because it doesn't mean shit if you can't win when it counts!

Michael Jordan could win when it counts, 6 of 6. Kareem went 6 of 10.

Lebron has a LOSING finals record!

MJ has lost 10 finals dumb dumb, he played 16 years, got to 6 finals, you don't get extra credit for not even getting to the finals lol

Read the bold stuff. Read it very slowly. lol You can't lose something you're not competing in, lol.

I guess by your logic I lost the NBA finals too, because I didn't make it to the finals. I guess Chris Weidman lost a world title match last night, because he didn't make it to the world title match.

Sometimes the stuff you say is so goofy I ask people if you're simply an alt/troll account. But I've been assured by several credible people that you're real, so I guess I have to take their word.

But if you think it doesn't matter if you lose in the finals, or that you can lose a game/series you're not participating in, I think we'll have to agree to disagree lolll

Not feeling this new narrative where Pippen and Rodman are the second coming, but Wade, Love, Irving, etc. are hot garbage.

Will Lebron on the Lakers be his Wizards era or his second 3 peat Bulls era?

I'm not arguing either way, but LeBron smokes Jordan in a game of 1-on-1.

LeBron vs Prime Kobe 1-on-1 would be more interesting.

this debate gets vicious...have heard it way too many times

both are great and can't compare ERAs...diff players...diff rules...diff officiating

MJ got a lot more calls than Bron so that has to factor in somehow

I love both guys...watched come fly with me and MJ videos at least a thousand times or more

don't watch much NBA now but Bron is fucking unreal

You're half right. Lebron is too big for Jordan 1-on-1, but Kobe can't hang with either of them.

But it's a team sport, not a game of 1-on-1. Jordan is still the GOAT.

It's comparing apples & oranges. No illegal defense these days makes helping on defense much easier, teams realized 3 point shots are more efficient than mid range jumpers, different ways teams can concentrate talent, & numerous other factors make the game & the league completely different. I find the rings argument silly, when James has lost in the finals it's rarely been due to his performance. Expecting James to score 50 & put up a triple double while being efficient on offense & playing good defense every finals isn't reasonable.

They were both the best of their generation & the two best players we'll likely see for a while

See the news about James opening a school and how much money he's donated.
That's a GOAT move!

That's probably the craziest statement I've seen on this thread.

The argument for Lebron being better than Jordan is that Lebron is a better facilitator than Jordan.

The knock on Lebron is his lack of defense.

So in your hypothetical scenario of prime 1 on 1, you're taking away Lebron's best attribute which is his ability to facilitate, and throwing him against Michael Fucking Jordan, multiple time leader in steals, top 3 all time in steals, former defensive player of the league, and you have Lebron having an advantage in this scenario?

I'd say pass me the crack you're smokin but I don't smoke crack lol

First part of your post I like, you make some good bring ups like regarding the 3point shots being mroe efficient than mid range jumpers.

However your statement of when James lst in the finals it's rarely been due to his performance, I'll say I disagree with that more than I agree with the former.

You need to understand we're talking about a team's #1 player in important games. You can't score less than 20 points and be having 6-8 turnovers a game.
