I've heard they've improved in recent years, but the criticism of them for a long time was that they don't cut it in cold temps because they regulate pressure to insure proper temp.
Guess that’s not really any issue here. Could be why they’re not used often up there.

Every hour, turn on each faucet to get the water running. Doesn't need to be for long. 20 seconds. Sinks, showers. Hot & Cold.

If you feer your exterior insulation is shit, open up the doors on sink bases.

Close valves for outdoor lines and open the spigot full. Make sure you don't have a hose attached.

Not much you can do if they ran waterlines in the attic - that is crazy to me. Can't believe that's code.
It's Par for the course here.

Power just came on after an hour. Once little man wakes up we are tying sleds to pickup trucks and playing.
Also did donuts all over the neighborhood on my way home from Lowes.

I'm pretty sure I saw a guy a few houses up pouring hot water on his water shut off valve at the street. I'll stab a bitch if he fucks this up for everyone.
