“Don’t Look Up” 8/10

Enjoyed it. Very sly and clever with the dark humor. It was almost like facing the reality of how far gone our society is bit shrugging your shoulders at it, as if to say fuck it - shit’s so bad you just have to laugh at it.
Amazing cast, some good performances. Highly recommend if you have a bit of a sadistic or dry sense of humor.

The Matrix Resurrection. 4.5/10 do not recommend. Please don't see this in the theater. Thank me later.

I watched last night. It was fucking bad. My favorite part was my wife shitting on it the whole time. It was basically a fan masturbation of the first movie. 3/10. As kneeblock @kneeblock says, don’t see it in the theater.

Watched this tonight and agree. Rather ridiculous at times yet bang on for most the movie.

I'm a little over halfway through, but I agree.

After finishing it. I love that each of the characters is a sum or all the negatives of all the people who hold that position. But I've found it really interesting to talk to others and find they only see the person they don't like in whichever character their speaking about.

Very well said. Your comment applies to a lot of things these days but people would rather seek confirmation of their views than common ground, or even just the openness to respecting differences of perspective.

Little late but the newer Suicide Squad.
Surprisingly, I liked it. Not as cringey as other DC movies. Shark guy was fun. On the downside they pretty much remove all the Harley Quinn ass that was in the first one that I couldn't finish watching anyways.

Such a great movie.
Shows that a war movie doesn't have to be brutal or absolutely violent to be gripping.
The acting, cinematography, settings & choreography are all top notch.

Agree. It was so much better than the original.

The Matrix Resurrections

4/10. Way too long but somewhat enjoyable because of the meta moments.

Spider-Man: Homecoming - 5/10

I'm probably being generous with this, and every point it gets is for Michael Keaton's performance. Hot Aunt May is weird, Spider-Man being a high schooler is weird, Spider-Man not having Spidey Sense is weird, having an awkwardly diverse cast is weird, No Uncle Ben is weird. I'm always willing to give movies a ton of comic leeway because they need to be entertaining to the masses, but this wasn't even that.

Spider-Man: Far From Home - 7/10

Really, fun movie with lots of comedic bits. The drone fighting scene at the bridge was way, way, way longer than it ever should have been.
