I mean, if you don't understand how a cost/benefit analysis works, then I guess.
Yeah, I agree. If you can't do a cost benefit analysis, you would suggest that we need to shut down every single research bio lab in the entire world like Tulsi just did.

As I said, I didn't watch the video, just read the caption.

Even then, I haven't seen a lot of good reasons as to why America should be funding these labs based on cost/benefit.

If Kenny Rogers taught me nothing else, he did teach me that sometimes you got a fight when you're a man.
tbh, im not completely anti-war. i get that nukes are scary, but i kinda wish countries would've called Putin's nuke threat a bluff and nipped this this in the bud right away by destroying erverything that entered Ukraine

but not american forces since america has a history of invading countries

other countries should of stepped up though. fuck putin. fuck russia. and fuck nukes. if we die, we die

Yeah trying to get in a game of chicken with nukes is probably not the best tactic.
Already the existing war has the potential to accidentally go awry when none of us want it to.
If you really want to back up, the world should have responded to Georgia and Crimea much more significantly as well as made concessions on things like anti-ballistic missile shield treaties. Carrot and stick.
Russia is feeling the pain of its past actions now. But that doesn't do anything for the present.

Nukes isn't something I'm willing to bluff with. Who knows what is truly in Putin's brain?

hindsight is 20/20. but i now wonder ...

- would it have been more likely that Putin uses nukes if many countries had smashed his initial assualt?
- or is it more likely that he uses nukes after his military is embarassed (relatively speaking), financial woes hit his country, and his people turn on him?
