Hey, they're invasive and as long as they're not on ENP land, have at it. I do think they're wicked cool lizards and I'm sure they don't do much damage to the environment (unlike feral cats, monitors, tegus etc). They're much like the wild Chameleons out in Ft Meyers, Naples, Everglades City etc, they just eat up more bugs and that's something we definitely don't have a shortage of.
If you're feeling frisky, you can try to capture a few and send them my way. I can sell them to hobbyists in those fly over states who think they're the most exotic thing they've ever seen. lol
