I can respect this. I'm very left-leaning in my politics, but that doesn't mean that I wouldn't call out my party of choice if they did something that was against what I believe in.
This is what is needed in politics. People who will stand by their beliefs, no matter whether their leader agrees with them or not.

The issue I have with Ryan’s speech is that he took a position of self-entitled infallibility with opinions presented as facts. He bashed the Republicans over the $15 minimum wage as if everyone agrees that is the absolute right thing to do for society when it doesn’t account for the impact to small businesses, costs being passed onto the consumer, and jobs being eliminated in favor of automation. He lashes out against the Dr. Seuss ban as if everyone should be ok with censorship and cancel culture sweeping that matter under the rug. His partisan positions were as clear as his passion but unfortunately not everyone agrees that the only way to unify is for everyone to see things his way.
