Yeah, I'm not really cool with assault followed by assault with a weapon. This isn't Amadou Diallo It's a pretty easy self defense/justified shooting defense in this instance, people are just looking for outrage at this point.i think this opinion will be unpopular, but I don't think it's OK for cops to shoot people in those circumstances.
either a Taser is a glorified titty-twister and you can hit people with it 10 times without really injuring them, or it's a less-lethal application of lethal force. But it sounds like the police want it both ways: it's painful but harmless when we use it, but it's murderous when used on us.
and I only say this because both of the officers clearly knew he had the Taser, and you should be able to distinguish a giant yellow Taser from Saturday Night Special in that situation...even when someone is running.

If you were a CCW holder and someone assaulted you and as they were running away were attempting to inflict further harm with a potentially deadly weapon I'd want you to use your firearm as you saw fit too.
