Some old lady with a walker collapsed in the parking lot. I proceeded to misappropriate her handicap placard from her car, so I can park closer next time.

I'm one of those guys that calls out perfectly capable people who use handicap placards when they aren't chaperoning people that actually need it.

Don't you feel like a dick when you use that pass in a handicap spot, then head out to your car to see an elderly woman walking to the store from the back row because she couldn't find a spot close to the store? Because if I did something like that I'd feel like a total asshole.

We should do "fucked up brakes" challenges. I don't change them until I hear metal on metal. I've actually taken my tire off and cut off the indicator because it was bothering me.

The gas primer on my weed wacker dry rotted over the winter and i couldn't start the engine. I took the primer bulb off, put a plastic bag around it and reapplied the flange that held it on - effectively creating the necessary vacuum to suck gas up from the tank.

Worked like a charm. It started right up.

Woke up to find out that hot water connect in attic went bad and had been leaking for over 24 hours. Had to rip out insulation and padding under carpet in master bedroom. Shop vac, dehumidifer and fan been going for 11 hours. Paint is literally peeling off wall. Its still under warranty. While its drying I found time to put more work into hall tree thing a ma jig. Needs stain and arm rests now.

Wife and I took our kiddo to the surgery center at 8:30am this morning to have her tonsils removed. Hugged her, kissed her, promised her everything was going to be okay while tears rolled down her face from anxiety. Surgery was a success. She's resting and eating lots of KFC mashed potatoes and ice cream.
