I've had to read a bunch of international regulatory standards and equipment specs over the past few weeks.
watched a video on a basic Dai Vernon card trick, and I've just been working through the mechanics of it with my hands while my eyes and brain are busy doing their thing.
Just did it for my wife, it worked. Now that she thinks I can read her mind, I can begin bending her to my will.

I found out on Tuesday that I got a position with the waste department. It’s an 11 hour shift schedule, 5 days on 5 days off twice than 4 days on 4 days off once. I’ll work 14 of every 28 days.
Unfortunately, my arborist and red seal in landscape horticulture that I took in parks is worthless in the new position. No more chainsaws for me.

started replacing the countertops in the RV.
pulled the old one out, cut out a replacement.
marked the new sink, big and deep - centered and placed to within 1mm.
cut a 'trim ring' and glued/clamped it in place.
Tomorrow I'll glue the laminate on top. I'll probably let it dry for a full day with weights on it before I take a shot at making a trim edge.

My wife asked me if I could switch the dryer door so it opened from the other side. It’s an LG so I got one of their engineers on the phone this morning. He said “It’s possible but only by a trained technician. Guys apprentice for 15 years before we even let them look at a door mechanism.”
