    I've been off work the last few weeks with the birth of my newest daughter. Been making a lot of breakfast.

    I found out that if you put in good ingredients, that match up well, then zero dressing is required.
    It's lettuce, onion, tomatoe, red bell pepper, parsley, toasted dark bread, pan-browned broccoli, marinated meat, garlic and pumpkin seeds.

    Curried shrimp. Apple, banana, peach, coconut cream and milk, peanut sauce and and bunch of spices. Cooked and peeled a bag of shrimp, tossed it in the sauce and let it simmer for two hours.

    Served over white rice with little bit of fresh cilantro on top.

    Nothing special tonight. Daughters been wearing me down with her constant insanity all week. Brie, cheddar, mozzarella pasta, Caesar salad and jalapeño poppers.

    I spent an hour juicing with my son, 12 orange, 8 grapefruit, 5 lbs carrots.

    Then juiced a bag of spinach, 5 cloves of garlic, a lemon, an apple and a thumb sized chunk of ginger.

    Tasted like sweat from Satan’s taint but it made me feel good.

    Made some congee for my sick daughter.

    Cooked up some hot Italian sausage I got to see what they’re like before I make chilli tomorrow. Fried up some sweet onion in the sausage dripping and toasted up a hoagie bun then slathered in some garlic butter. Threw on some home made banana peppers for giggles. Don’t look like much but it was quite good.

    Was writing this up and my daughter threw up all over me and the new sheets I just put on the bed.

    From 2 minutes before the puke.

    They weren’t. I’ve never had an issue with shrimp rubberizing in any curry I’ve made. Low heat for long periods lets the flavours sink in and allows the acid from the fruit to break down the fibres in the meat (I often use chicken as well) so it stays soft.

    If you boil shrimp for two hours it could be tire like but that’s not the case here.

    broke my heart to learn it is high fructose for sweeter...I don't do High fructose anymore :(

    I might be wrong...just says sugar when I looked it up online

    I know A1 steak sauce has corn syrup in it and that broke me heart

    I can’t stand a1 or 57. In my opinion if you’ve cooked it properly steak shouldn’t need sauce.

    I use it for shitty meat and on burgers and shit

    I just salt and pepper steak and leave it a lil bit bloody and let it sit

    I just like the flavors of those sauces all by themselves

    I tried to start a cooking thread on sherdog but I constantly got shit on by a mod that was a chef at a restaurant. He would post pics of shit he made at work and cut down anything other people posted. I’m cooking for my family not some rich bitch who’s paying 100 bucks for some fancy little dinner. I got sick of it and stopped posting.

    I like that there’s a bunch of us who cook and share recipes and pictures. I don’t post these pictures anywhere but here (Instagram food pics piss me off). This thread is one of my favourites on the site.

    Not cool of him but sounds like typical thirsty hater based troll behavior like our resident trolls live on

    I am glad he did though...I get some good ideas and kind of look at your posts as food porn...so much good food and the portions are always amaze
