When he fights, you know it will be fun. Simple as that I think. He's the out of the same mold as Matt Brown, Joe Lauzon, Diego Sanchez, Cody Garbrandt, Rumble, etc... You just fireworks are coming...good or bad.

He's a fighter. Plain and simple.
This day an age fighters have been replaced with athlete's who jab and grab there way to a snooze fest decision.
His last fight was perfect example, he was losing to a better guy with more speed and better technique, so Perry just raged and walked through everything pushed him back on the cage and knocked him the fuk out. Fukn awesome.
His next fight is against Ponzinibibbio who us another fighter who loves brawling and just brings it. Definitely has the potential to be fight of the year.

True. He hasn't been in a boring fight yet.
I think it started with the "Thought you had a friend boi, ahhh!!!" he said at the UFC 202 weigh-ins. But it seemed like most of the people talking about that were actually laughing at the guy. Still, it's publicity. That, coupled with the fact that aside from the Jouban fight, he's won by KO/TKO -- oh and maybe his dumb tats "God's Gift" and "Platinum" on his face.
Mike Perry is awesome. What you see is what you get, with this guy, as others have mentioned.
He has a kill or be killed mentality. A real warrior. He reminds me of Wolverine lol. Once he gets backed up into the cage and is on the losing end, you know he's about to rage. Berserker mode.
He's also very very crafty. Almost like a dan Henderson type of crafty. He can KO you anywhere with any limb. Dangerous af.

I didn't read the whole thread. But Im sure there has been comparisons to Baroni. He really is Baroni 2.0. Meat head tough guy who hits hard as hell. They stand and bang until someone falls. He brings excitement. Thats why people like him.

I don't think there were any Baroni comparisons, but yeah that is an apt comparison. Baroni was a bit of a bully though, fucking with civilians so to speak, outside of the cage. I haven't read of Perry acting like that.
Yeah, I remember when Pete Sell beat him and said in the post fight interview with rogan “this guy’s a dick, you know how he is in public and how he treats everyone, this is for everyone” or something to that effect
