To me, The Joker was never much of anything. I never enjoyed the idea that he was looney tunes but a psychopath who wanted to cause harm. He always struck me as silly even if he was hurting people. And I never enjoyed the artwork look of The Joker.

Then I saw Nolan and Heath Ledger's Joker.

That version is one of the greatest villains ever imo. He is a malicious, evil genius, who is clearly deranged but extremely cognizant of everything he is doing. All the laughing and faces just conceal the incredible hate in his eyes. To me, THAT is the only Joker.......

Agree, ledger's take i love. Mark hammil's version is the voice i hear in my head when i'm reading the comics though.
