In my math to him on his situation on my opinion...

30k people from all the world. They def had some corona virus. He probably doesn't have it still. However...

It's Thursday on spring break. He can literally stay home for four days and only miss a single day to make 5. He's a sales guy anyways. And just got done slangin' it for his company out of town. His harm is minimal.
I can never tell if you agree with me.

Splinty @Splinty - this ^ or quarantine away from everyone?
Again...me? And this is partly a social decision not a medical one. Sit your ass at home and chill out. You are low risk. However that crowd was def infected looking at the rates we are seeing right now. So you are higher risk than others (except sparkuri @sparkuri who is on the front line spending all day excited at getting to use his compost toilet and hydroponic fish pond to grow hemp for his shirts). There's zero reason for you to go around crowds right now. Your job is to literally go up and meet and touch as many hands as possible right? It's the exact time you could take a 5 day pause and reassess the developing situation. I would do that. I wouldn't isolate myself beyond that or my family. I would just start practicing social distancing with a 5 day reset. Nothing more.

interesting.
I would say use Glycerol.
And the first place I can think to get it that isn't a lab supply is...

lol

Just buy some soap.
Put your alcohol in a spray bottle and use it as a mister for hand sanitizer on the go.

I think he should hang out at home because his situation is that he can do so without a lot of harm to himself.
So you agree with me.

Low risk. Be cautious. No necking on the wife and no uncle joe kiddie sniffin.

I feel vindicated.

Not even going to figure that out. This thing isn't the end of the world medically. We'll be fine. Buuutttttt there's lots more than medical and you don't want to overrun the medical system at once (like putting your 4 month flu season into one month)...

Probably about 1% in more modern medical systems currently and even less as protocols get kicked in.

I think we should take it seriously from a public health standpoint. If I could stop a new flu, I would. If I could delay it long enough to develop vaccines and use the health system in a serial manner (instead of overloading parallel) I would.
That's where we are at. The economic cost of prevention is high but you only get one chance to contain.
Third party experts all seem to think this is here to stay and to just plan for it to be endemic like flu. However, many global policy experts are still in containment mode and feel this could be stopped before that happens.
I'm a clinician, not a public health expert. But I do think this is one of the paradoxical things that is relatively low risk like flu at the individual level but major red alert if you're at the policy making level.

I agree with ya

Silver to Gold ratio also is insane so Silver will rise IMO...maybe not an amazing investment but it will indeed rise

The DOW lost 10% of its market value again today.

8000 points in 1 month.

This is much more than a bear market.
