It's similar to a chilli soup a friend showed me years back. That's in a slow cooker with chicken (I just used to get a rotisserie one and Chuck the meat in) chicken stock. It's one hell of a tasty soup, he used to bring it in for pot luck
Give it a taste here in 10-15 min and see what else it needs for seasoning. I personally throw in some fennel seed for my chili's and sauces.
It's "fennel seed", its in the spices section with the rest. It adds a subtle flavor that rounds out a good chili imo
