I looked into it.
Allegedly the warrant stems from unauthorized access to an emergency channel.

If true, she fucked up.

She said she doesn't have access to the channel and has never used it. That should be fairly easy to prove.

Given the history, I'm inclined to believe her more than the DeSantis administration.

Once they are no longer associated with ESF8 they are no longer authorized to access the multi-user group," the FDLE affidavit said. All authorized users use the same user name and password.

Seems secure.

I wonder if she wasn't taking data but logged in at some point shortly after being fired. Maybe logged in to tell people hey I've been fired I'm going to keep working on this if anybody wants to help me or something like that. I would expect the state to have something on their side to show she logged in like an IP address and postings. it'll have nothing to do with her continued cider the data and be really petty and vindictive.

theres never a bad chance to use that image

Lady seems pretty honest in watching it all unfold. I expect she basically did nothing and the state will have just enough to slap her on the wrist, which is pretty gross prosecutorial targeting. Just being charged is a nightmare.

or she hacked the mainframe and we are idiots

They say someone logged in on November 10. She was fired back in March or April

Hey pretty close guess to the situation. We'll see right?

So she was fired then and what...they sat around with an alert for her known IPs lol? They decided recently to look back and happen to find the Nov 10 log?

Shared user/pass, IP address...
If they don't actually find cached access on her computer, this is defensible.
And even then, I wonder how it's accessed. Is it a website? a terminal? an app? Could she have just opened her usual tabs and its one she always had saved?

The more I think about it, if they are only going after one day of login, the more I think a defense attorney would make them look stupid for the shared user/password thing even with a login logged.

Our investigation began last month following a complaint by Florida Department of Health that a person illegally hacked into their emergency alert system. As part of our investigation, FDLE agents served a search warrant this morning at the Centerville Court residence where Ms. Jones lives after determining the home was the location that the unauthorized message was sent from.

Agents knocked and called Ms. Jones both announcing the search warrant and encouraging her to cooperate. Ms. Jones refused to come to the door for 20 minutes and hung-up on agents.

After several attempts, Ms. Jones allowed agents inside. Agents entered the home in accordance with normal protocols and seized several devices that will be forensically analyzed. At no time were weapons pointed at anyone in the home. Any evidence will be referred to the State Attorney for prosecution as appropriate.

Found it
The Florida Department of Health says someone hacked into a system used to send emergency communications earlier this month and sent an unauthorized message to members of the State Emergency Response Team responsible for coordinating public health and medical response.

The Nov. 10 message, obtained by the Tampa Bay Times, urged recipients to “speak up before another 17,000 people are dead. You know this is wrong. You don’t have to be a part of this. Be a hero. Speak out before it’s too late.”

The message appears to have been sent to people on the contact list for the state’s Emergency Support Function 8, one of 18 specialized groups that comprise the state’s emergency response personnel. Group 8, which is led by the Department of Health, coordinates public health and medicine response in emergencies.

This is pretty interesting. They don't seem to have anything other than supposed motive?
Can we find anything showing this ladt was in "group 8"?

“The most damning stuff that they are going to get from that equipment is the information about all of the employees from the state who have talked to me over the last six months,” Jones said. “And, the fact that I promised them I would never tell anybody who they were, or where they worked and I have failed to protect them, really f-----g pissed me off.”
was it to get her or find out who was talking to her?
