No more than any other time that the FDA has basically been an unholy matrimony of government and private industry.
But the studies and independent retrospective data are good. And there are significant amount of people for smarter on the subject than I am supporting that do not carry the same conflicts of interest that you might find in the FDA approval process.
Ok so here's my hypothesis...
I think the 2 vacs are, as stated, clinically interchangeable. Obviously. Because the FDA declared it so.
I think Pfizer doesn't want to produce the FDA approved vaccine yet because then they will be held to different legal standards. (Liability)
Per the FDA Pfizer is supposed to post any lots that are BLA compliant on the internet. And, of course, keep the FDA advised of who, what, when, and where and how much.
I couldn't find any such lot numbers anywhere. Apparently no one else can either.
Some senator has been asking Pfizer/biotech and the FDA by letter how many batches have been produced that are BLA compliant. Pointing out the importance of this in mandates being issued by the government.
No answer from either.
NIH published a memo at the end of September saying Pfizer doesn't intend on producing cormirnaty while it is still producing and distributing EUA vaccine.
I think Pfizer doesn't want to claim and publish lots as BLA compliant so they can fall back on the safety legal net of the EUA for as long as possible.

Vaccination is easily the best tool to get this under control. I'm worried about extended lockdowns. How was that on the psyche? We saw a lot of anxiety and depression here with much shorter lockdowns than you are doing.
If the number of hospitalizations and deaths from coronavirus fall to a level that is lower than flu or other common ailments in your society do you think they should still continue with vaccination certificates?
Theoretically at some point everybody that can get sick and die from this does and everybody else has enough immunity that it's just another virus pin balling through the population just like all of them do.
Like what would be the utility of having vaccination certificates for this one particular illness to Be the utility of having vaccination certificates for this one particular illness ten years from now?

my sense on that matter is that vaccines/boosters make sense based on risk factors... like being over 40 or dealing with other health issues.
i think the push to vaccinate people outside of those risk factors is profit-driven.
I don't think Pfizer is being thorough or transparent in their collection and reporting of after-market impacts.
