Does anyone here use Letterboxd? I use it to keep track of movies I’ve watched and movies I want to watch. I guess there is a social media element to it but I don’t really use that. I’ve also found tons of movies on there that I’ve never seen before and I think it’s the most up to date with what movies are on which streaming services.

It's brutal man. You enjoy the Scream series? They were the shit in the late 90s. Don't think I've seen the last two yet.
I like the Scream series. The last 2 weren’t that bad and I’m glad to see where the next movie is gonna go. They got rid of the cast from the last 2 movies and the new one is going to focus on Neve Campbell’s character. I think my favorite ones from the franchise are 2 and 4, but I like all of them.

In for horror movie suggestions.

I recently watched “In a violent nature” and it was THE MOST boring, piece of shit horror movie I’ve ever seen.

The only redeeming quality was the Mortal Kombat-esque kill of some yoga chick where he punches through her body, reaches through with a chain with a hook at the end, rams the hook through the top of her head and then pulls her head through the hole in her body.

Other than that, it was pure shit.

I liked it but I completely understand why people wouldn’t. It is very slow and…quiet? It’s just a lot of scenery and that definitely doesn’t work for a slasher. Have you seen “When Evil Lurks”? It’s not really a slasher but I don’t remember many slow spots in the whole movie. Some of the kills are really surprising. It’s on Shudder.

My favorite thread from the OG and I had to recreate it here.

I rewatched Tremors last night and it might get better every time I watch it. It’s the perfect reimagining of a 1950s creature feature but with the early 1990s charm. Anything else fall into a similar category?
Cool. The former SVU here. Thanks for recreating the thread in our new home. Now I can get in on the ground floor of its new incarnation.

Those girls were sooo bad in the remake. Hayden and Jenna are so nice but it sucks the Mexican chick went full retard with supporting Hamas that they removed her...

You guys like the Terrifier movies? I thought they were pretty entertaining...

I love the Terrifier gorefest movies. 2 has definitely been the best so far. I’m really excited for 3 because Christmas horror is my favorite.

Watched this over lunch. A lot better than expected! I'd give it a 6.5/10. Nothing new or innovative but well shot, good gore/kills, fun trip!

I hardly ever watch movies anymore but got into The Blair Witch Project.

I watched that at a double feature with my parents when I was little and it first came out. The first movie was Star Wars Episode 1, which is such a weird combo. The drive-in was stuck back in the woods and watching this scared the shit out of me. I miss getting scared by movies.

Have any of you seen this? It's pretty cheesy but loved it. Everything you want in a slasher movie like boobs and gruesome killings. Never heard of it until recently and watched the rest as well but this was the best one...
