Ok, so let's go with the first one and say just for the sake of discussion you are mostly Polish. Hope that's cool, if not tell me to fuck right off.
Alright, so we have a polish woman in this scenario. After a google search of "negative polish sterotypes" the first article i ran into listed 6 negative polish stereotypes. Here's the article i looked at:
6 big Polish stereotypes that are kinda silly
The list is:
1. They're stupid
2. They drink too much
3. They're religious zealots
4. They never smile i.e. unfriendly
5. They're all communists
6. They're anti-semitic
So let's say a Polish family member of yours (let's go with sister) goes to the hospital for getting into a car accident for a dui, which is also her fault as you stated above. Then let's also say a prominent public figure figure makes a public statement saying something along the lines of, "Well that was inevitable, what with the drinking all that racist stupid commie liquor."
Now, i'm no mind reader, but I dare say that it might torque you off in some fashion, especially if she was in critical condition and your emotions were very raw.
My point of this post was to illustrate that it's much easier to have a clinical, emotionally detached response when it's not your ass in the sling.
Please no one misconstrue anything i said as a statement of hate. Nothing could be further from the truth.
