I haven't read the book but there's a variety of reviews there in the mainstream.
Regarding nuance I think this important when you and I are talking here. Is it useful in bringing focus to your cause or making a social commentary via literary work?
Should a modest proposal simply have actually been modest? Should any number of dystopian future novels been less extreme on the spectrum, and more in line with a likely future?

Well the context he was using it in was that he was pointing to the refugee crisis in Europe and saying look 'The Camp of Saints' is happening. In essence saying that non-whites are invading to take over and sleep with all the white women, as in the book.
I'm not saying it shouldn't exist, but that saying the Matrix is happening when they create an AI which can beat someone at a game, isn't helpful and is fearmongering.
I've heard that claim before, although I've never seen any proof to the claim, can you provide any? It's also possible that Cenk, the anchor, was mistaken, as the Armenian genocide certainly took place, however, there is a lot of propaganda about it not happening in Turkey and amongst Turks. Definitely not their finest hour.

That's what Steve Bannon is suggesting by comparing the refugee crisis to Camp of the Saints. Literally saying it's Camp of the Saints. To which you said 'Is what he said wrong?'. Which, yes, what he said was explicitly wrong. It was not an invasion to take over Europe. Suggesting it was is racist fearmongering.
