Because, again, you're conflating immigration policy with ethnic superiority. It's incredibly disingenuous.
Ethnic superiority is precisely what the book Bannon refers to is about, and he is comparing it to immigration. I am commenting on his conflating immigration policy with ethnic superiority.

Huffington Post? The publication that just hired John Podesta to head up their anti-Trump efforts?
It's a quote from a Republican that reviewed the book when it was released. Think what you want of the Huffington Post, but they don't make up quotes, to my knowledge.

Why does her one opinion matter over others?

Someone who also agrees it is racist? I'm not saying the book should be banned or suppressed, I am agreeing with these all of these reviews that say it is racist. Why are you splitting hairs over reviews of a racist book?

Someone who dug a bit deeper than that.

I'm wondering why you're chastising some guy over a book he read and referenced in an interview. Do we even have any direct quotes from Bannon on this book?
He compared the refugee crisis to this book. He literally said what was happening in Europe is what happened in this book. He's also hardly some guy, he's special advisor to the President of the United States and a member of his National Security Council. I almost think you're trolling at this point.

Find the direct quote so we can put it into proper context. A Washington Post and/or TYT hit piece is hardly an unbiased source.

So what does it all mean, Zeph @Zeph? What kind of threat does Steve Bannon pose to the American people?

I've already posted the direct quotes in this thread. You can go listen to the source material, if you like, it's linked right there as well.

I don't know, but to dismiss it as nothing seems very naive. I hope I am wrong, honestly.

There is no threat. It's just more sensationalism from the left. Akin to the right's treatment of Obama when he got in office.

I don't know that Bannon is guilty of anything other than hyperbole in comparing the premise of a racist novel to the situation in Europe.

Are there other quotes/tweets where he advocates for the same solution as the book? or otherwise shows agreement with the racist parts of the book?
