Garrett is the starting pitcher tonight vs the Orioles. Big test for the rookie.

My Royals are hanging in there. Up 1 on Bumgarner.

They win this they are back to .500 within a reasonable division.

Law enforcement sources tell us they spoke with multiple witnesses who said the woman was the aggressor -- and had spit several times and smacked the man before he retaliated.

The 2 were cited for disorderly conduct and escorted out of the stadium.

Not a fan of hitting a chick - better to just walk away, tell the stadium officials and have her removed. But it doesn't matter who you are...if you push it far enough, eventually someone will pay it back to you in spades.

If you spit on someone you deserve to get punched, sex doesnt matter at that point.

Streak is over. He went up against Strasburg last night. 0-4.
 
Chris Sale is mowing people down so far this year for Boston.

In 4 starts he's pitched 29.2 innings, given up only 15 hits and has 42 Ks with an ERA of 0.91
His pitch count in those 4 games : 102, 111, 108 and 104.

He served up a Golden Sombrero to Joey Bautista last night.

I will give the Royals players alot of credit for being fan friendly. The core of the team was playing 5 years ago when they really sucked so they know how awful it is playing in front of 10,000 fans a night. Sal Perez could murder someone at home plate and people would find a way to justify it.

Madison Bumgarner has been placed on the DL.

He hurt himself in a dirt bike accident. Bruised ribs. Sprained AC joint in his throwing shoulder.
