So can one of the many Trumptards on here please let me know if they think their dear leader is going to do the right thing and call the attack of yesterday (domestic) terrorism, or is he going to continue with his childish mentality of not ever being able to capitulate because it's "weak"?

Has anyone mentioned that the Nationalist protest was originally denied a permit to gather because the city didn't think they could provide adequate security so they sued and the courts overruled it and granted it anyway?

That kind of makes it worse. The officials tried to do what is best, even if it was just because of who applied for the permit, and then ultimately get shut down and now have to try to clean up a shit storm because nut jobs from both sides decided to overtake a city and cause a ruckus.

Killed "by the madness of Trumpism". Nah, absolutely no agenda from the left.
A decent human being would vmbe more outraged at the killing of an innocent like by neo nazi extremists, than by a headline ... just saying.

Care to reply to this question of mine:
I'm not sure on the context but that car had people climbing and banging on it and drove to escape.

Did the Unite the Right car have people attacking the car? That's a genuine question, I don't know. But even still, why ram in to everyone else? Why not drive away?

I have seen various angles of the car hitting the people and rear ending the other cars.i cant really say that people were attacking the car first from the footage i have seen.they attack it after.the facts will have to come out in the next few days but as it stands right now it looks pretty bad for the driver.in this day and age everyone has footage of everything but all i have seen starts about 2 seconds before the impact.in the end he ran over multiple people and will have to face the music for it whether he was getting attacked or not

An interesting twist to the story.

Robert E Lee was a complicated figure. Been reading all morning, as I'm not totally educated on the subject.
Here's an apolitical view

Making Sense of Robert E. Lee | History | Smithsonian

I understand why people we feel strongly about keeping the statue up or down. But I think most of those feelings are way too simple and are distilling the truth down to what they want to believe.
Just because Robert E. Lee wasn't Hitler, doesn't mean there should be statues of him.

He fought for a side that's primary motivation for fighting was to keep slaves. (And before some dipshit says 'states' rights', yes states' rights...to keep slaves).

I don't think anyone should be fighting or dying over a statue, but it's completely reasonable that people want it taken down and completely unreasonable for racists to have rallies to try to keep it. It's a negative symbol.

Land, here where I live most of the land is in families. Handed down generation to generation. Know a farmer I know has land in his family since the 1800s.
Two things. 1) Nepotism exists in every industry not just farming. 2) You don't need to own a farm to work on it.

You are probably right, but there is no need for it to be political.

He is a twisted, mouth-breathing idiot with hate in his heart. His views are shared by a very, very small amount of Americans. He went after innocents with intent to harm. Execute him.

This is not Donald Trump calling the act "terrorism".

Not good enough for the left
I'm more of a centrist but no it's not good enough. Trump needs to stop avoiding the words "terrorism" and "terrorists" just because 99.99% of these domestic terrorists are Trump voters.

It's not like these retards are going to vote for a Democrat in the next election.

Most of the people that work the land is family in its self. Not much need for outside help as alot is automated. Gone as the days of mules and a cart. Satellites and computers. Anything eles they do it themselves or close family friends. Thats aleast the people I talk to.

See Roddy knew how to deal with murderers
If he was alive and posted here it's possible he would be chief regulator, and I have no qualms.

He'd just have to watch his racism or the elf will pink him

I'll skip your interpretation of Robert E Lee's most important contributions to life. All I'm learning is it seems more complex than that to me. And obviously to others that aren't the KKK or whatever dichotomy is being forced in the current conversation that has at minimum 4 major groups weighing in on this particular statue. The least numerous opinion being the aggregate of fringe racist right groups.

I really don't care whether or not the statue is left up or taken down, but you need to read up on your Civil War history. Lee freed his slaves years before the war started.
