Update: On Tuesday afternoon, the New York Times reported (and NBC confirmed) that President Trump asked then-FBI Director James Comey to stop investigating Michael Flynn just after Flynn resigned in February, according to a memo written by just after the conversation happened:
“I hope you can let this go,” the president told Mr. Comey, according to the memo. The existence of Mr. Trump’s request is the clearest evidence that the president has tried to directly influence the Justice Department and F.B.I. investigation into links between Mr. Trump’s associates and Russia. Mr. Comey wrote the memo detailing his conversation with the president immediately after the meeting, which took place the day after Mr. Flynn resigned, according to two people who read the memo.

The White House flatly denied the report shortly after it was published, saying "[T]he President has never asked Mr. Comey or anyone else to end any investigation...This is not a truthful or accurate portrayal of the conversation between the President and Mr. Comey.":

I love this Presidency.
It's a damn shame he didn't do all of this via email. It would make it much easier to prove it to be true or false. But her emails!
The Republican chairman of the House Oversight Committee demanded Tuesday that the FBI turn over all documents it has about communications between President Donald Trump and former FBI Director James Comey.
House Speaker Paul Ryan of Wisconsin — a Republican, like Trump and Chaffetz — appeared to endorse Chaffetz's demand for the FBI documents.
"We need to have all the facts, and it is appropriate for the House Oversight Committee to request this memo," said AshLee Strong, a spokeswoman for Ryan.
Chaffetz will also have the support of Democratic members of his committee.
All Democrats on both the Oversight Committee and the House Judiciary Committee sent a separate letter Tuesday demanding an investigation into whether Trump and other top officials "are engaged in an ongoing conspiracy to obstruct" FBI, Justice Department and congressional investigations.
Damn, putting another countries & strong allies spy in danger is a big deal.SAN FRANCISCO — Two Israeli intelligence officials confirmed to BuzzFeed News Tuesday that Israel had shared specific intelligence with the US regarding ISIS plots to smuggle explosive laptops onto planes, and that it appeared that that intelligence had been shared with Russia without prior coordination.
The revelation that Trump had shared that intelligence with Russian officials was Israel's "worst fears confirmed," said one of the intelligence officers.
"We have an arrangement with America which is unique to the world of intelligence sharing. We do not have this relationship with any other country," said the officer, who spoke to BuzzFeed News on condition of anonymity as he was not granted permission to speak to the press.
"There is a special understanding of security cooperation between our countries," he said. "To know that this intelligence is shared with others, without our prior knowledge? That is, for us, our worst fears confirmed."
