The horrible fighting techniques almost make this show unwatchable, but it is saved by Johnny's hilarious insults and his overall world view.
Any time Danielson's wife is on screen is also worth watching. She is a fucking smoke show.
I don't really care for the re-introduction of the Silver character. KK3 was so bad I pretty much erased it from my memory.
I'm only 4 or 5 episodes in on the current season, but I'd like for Elisabeth Shue to return. A fight between her, Danielson's wife and Miguel's mom would be much-watch TV. Maybe have it break out at a Victoria's Secret store at the mall.

I love the fight scenes. I like to color commentate them as of they actually no how to fight and them act surprised when they don't dick under the long looping overhand and shoot for a takedown.
Johnny does hit a slick scissor takedown in one scene.
Johnny, his kid and to a lesser extent Silver are the only ones with believable karate techniques. The rest of them are all laughably bad.
I guess most actors are unathletic nerds.
The hidden MVP of this show is the film editor. He has a manumental task of making it look like any of these dorks can walk and chew gum at the same time.

I started watching it the other night and fell asleep halfway through. I have decided that it’s not really worth taking the time to finish it.
I do see the point of bringing Silver back though. It offers the opportunity to make Kreese a sympathetic character at the expense of Silver, which no one gives a goddamn about. I have a feeling we’re all in for a big happy ending.
Hopefully Daniel’s wife and Johnny’s chic slap each other’s tittys around at some point.

My favorite part of that entire sequence is that they were hammer drunk and agreed to have a fight the very next day. So all of Johnny's training - punching walls, smashing cinder blocks, kicking waves and mailboxes - were all done with a morning hangover in order to get in shape for a fight later that afternoon.
The mail box and wave kicking fucking killed me. I must’ve watched it 5-6 times. This season needed more Johnny and less of the high school gorps.
Best part is that each season is pretty short so you don’t get burnt out as the seasons go. It never gets up it’s own ass with some stupid fucking lesson or commentary on the world. The show never takes itself seriously.

After Cobra Kai runs its course, I'd 100% be on board with a series focused on Johnny. Just a dude stuck in his 80s machoism thumbing his nose at the woke idiots of the world. It's a goldmine of hilarity.
For sure, because he’s not malicious or hateful in any way. He’s just old school and thinks these kids don’t need to act like pussies.
My favourite part is when Sensei silver is some rich woke pussy at the start but slowly you see him unravel back into his evil ways. It was terrific
Silver was amazing in karate kid 3. I also liked how he summarized the whole thing putting it down to too much cocaine in the 80s
