Its not too dissimilar here in Australia. I have a client (a builder) whose bookkeeping I do every 3 months at his business premises. He's like 73 and typically old school, so he phones shops instead of looking online. Spent like 2-3 hours calling like 5-6 shops asking if they have masks he needed for his work. His efforts ended up paying off but he spent all that fucking time to get a $17 piece of equipment.

I have 2 boxes in my shop. I have some offbrand white ones and also a pack of 20 3m brand. Also have 3 of the half face respirators with the filters used for spraying paints in booths.
