I think Bernie can do this. It’s going to be interesting.

Bernie can win with a primary built on fractured moderates dividing their vote.

Bernie has his work cut out in the general.
He has shown no sign of enlarging or moderating his message and it's foolhardy to ignore trump's positioned strength among moderate americans with a good economy. Those voters must be peeled off to win.

Internet and primary voices don't represent at large registered voters. You'd think Bloomberg was a nobody (i did)...yet he's just as electable as sanders at this point among voters.

Now of course the major weakness in this data is electoral voter distribution.
But some states almost assuredly require a toned down message to win:
The Swing Issue That Could Win a Swing State

Still, bloomberg and Bernie polling equal among general voters should be eye opening in where primaries are from the national opinion.

Moreover, again to the electoral layout, Biden and Bloomberg pull in more women (and especially suburban white women) than Bernie. Can/Will he tone down his ideology to a more generic populism? Even trump was considered a moderate by voters and probably why he managed to move through the blue wall.

Those polls of Dems nationally account for turnout at 2016 levels. Bloomberg won't get near 2016 levels of youth turnout, Bernie will increase it. Bloomberg being as electable as Bernie is just pundit spin.

He's here on Sunday.
