I promise you if you eat half kilo of yogurt everyday , you will never have a chest infection ever ever ever in your life .
I normally steer clear of dairy, but I may give this a shot....... Atto where are you from? I lived in Germany and Ukraine from 2008-2011, so I'm good with metric (I still use it here to the chagrin of my fellow Americans)

Nerves, that's healthy.... Just don't let it cripple you with fear, be cautiously aggressive when you compete, set up your game first

If that's your game, yeah do it (most people do these days), be first in establishing your game, put your opponent on the reaction train.... Lead the dance, the more you make them play defense to what you're doing, the less of a chance they get to play offense on you.

This is my game plan rhino lol listen to this.

Get grips first, do a sloppy whitebelt pull guard. Mess around In closed guard for a minute, try break his posture. If he tries stand up and break my closed guard ima go straight to de le riva. Now from here i will either sweep or berimbolo and take his back.

Or if I'm in de la Riva and he kicks out and tries to pass. Usually from my experience knee slide or dead man pass is how I see guys get passed my legs from dlr ima go straight to reverse de la riva before he has the chance and sweep his ass and come on top.

Now the match probably won't go like this at all but this is how I hope it does lol

Thanks guys.... Well first time competing in a while, and I lost both my matches on points... 2-0 and 5-0.... I fought up in weight against two beasts and man am I sore LOL

In all seriousness though, it was great getting back out there and I look forward to the next one.... I love this shit

It's that day after, and I've replayed those matches in my head a billion times.... I realize that I never got any of my offense going, never really committed to my takedowns, I drilled my defense and position escapes so much that I fell into the trap of reacting to EVERYTHING rather than giving them something to think about.

Of course I'm mad at myself, that's the competitive side of me.... I needed to pull the trigger and I didn't. I'm glad my position escapes and defense were on point though, that is a win (especially against good black belts). Always something to improve upon, and that's the beauty of what we do..... Now I'm anxious to get back out there for the next one

Posted this in the off topic session but I performed very, very well.

I lost my second match after going to pull guard and my opponent took me down right then. He won 2-0. I felt I was in control of the whole match but just couldn't get the points back. I will post the matches once they're available.

I got two submissions triangle choke and RNC and two dominant wins on points. My open guard was on point. I didn't get passed once in 5 matches.

Great work SAJ @SAJ. Win or lose, I am always extra excited about training right after a tournament. Keep up the good work.

Yes same here! Even though I had a good performance there were mistakes of course and they need to be fixed. Also I just feel a lot more confident now so this will definitely pay off in class.

Honestly guys, I think it's awesome that we all here encourage each other... SC MMA MD @SC MMA MD SAJ @SAJ love that you guys just went out there too.... Leigh @Leigh you're an OG so you get it, Darqnezz @Darqnezz puts in the work too.... This shit isn't easy, it can be discouraging at times, but as long as everyone is having fun, learning from their mistakes, and has themselves in a positive learning/growing environment, we'll keep this grind going.

I'm honored gents, and proud of you fellow competitors

Rhino, headed to Orlando in early May for my daughters cheer competition. Would love to swing by the gym if I can break away for a bit.

Absolutely.... And is it the event at Disney Wide World of Sports? I'm a entertainment/event manager at that place and I deal with those cheer events a lot

So last night I got in bed and I was kicking myself.

Was going over the fights in my head and was actually kinda upset of how close I was to winning and definitely could have done a lot better.

I think ima take a break from competing for a least a few months. Work on my weaknesses, earn a few more stripes and go back out there when my game is more complete.

I'm also kind of relieved it's over. I don't deal with pressure/anxiety well. I over think a lot.

I won gold today at the Bristol Open. Felt a bit rough but performed well. First match I won by RNC, second I won 13-2. I'm happy cos I pulled off the Tozi pass I've been working on.

Good job bro.

I was supposed to be there but had to pull out. A few guys from my team travelled up to Bristol and they brought some medals back.

When are you competing next? I guess I will be seeing you a lot more often as you're always competing.
