Problem is you cannot undo the 2nd Amendment even if they tried. I am Pro Gun. I feel anyone who can pass a background check and can prove they are efficient with a firearm should be allowed to purchase and own one. We have over 300 million guns in this country there is no way we could get them back even if we tried. Because of this we have to deal with it in a correct way that is fair for all.

First thing they need to do is enforce the laws that are already on the books. One of the biggest is not putting people in jail that try to obtain a gun that know damn well they can't have one.

Second, they need to put allot of money back into mental healthcare. If you look at mass shootings most are done by people that should be in some type of facility and not on the street. It might sound crude but time to lock up the crazies.

If people would stop wasting time and resources over trying to ban guns and used it to manage them we would all be better off and safer.
They should start somewhere, maybe it gets better in 30,40 or 50 years and your children or there children will get to live without guns in there life.

Sometimes i like to have a gun myself, but most of the time i think i'm better off having gun control in my country there is way less murder in the streets here.

I had this call one time, multiple people shot in a residential area. I can't remember if we were the 2nd or 3rd rig into the location. When we got there the first crew had done a scene assessment to find out how many patients and who needed worked on first(triage). There was a guy lying in his front yard from a GSW to the head but still breathing. No one was with him except for a cop standing there. He looked at me and said "he shot his entire family don't even think you're treating him until everyone else is taken care of".

I was in a 100% agreement. This coward knew his wife was fucking around on him so he decided to come home early. He saw a car in his driveway he didn't recognize, most likely the guy she was fucking. Instead of going in right then and there he waited until the guy left and his kids got home from school. His daughter was the only one to live but she had multiple wounds to her stomach and chest. She was 8yo. His wife died on the scene and his son(around 12) at the hospital. This pos who shot his entire family actually died at the hospital as well later that night.

If you feel you can't live anymore and feel you must take your life, then take yours and not innocent victims let alone family members and kids.

CNN reporting the shooter has died from his self-inflicted gunshot wound. What a piece of shit.

These fucks don't kill merely themselves because then no one would cower before their display of power and sadism. Fuck I hate them. I hate that I know who they are enough to hate them! I hate that we know their names and they get infamy for their ball-less disgusting crimes and inspire the next round of wimpy fucks. Fuck this, I gotta go back to the Joe Lauzon/Nate Diaz bro thread until I feel like life is worth living.

this was all over a job too. the cameraman would rather work with the girl instead of the guy and the guy came and shot them both.

i don't think pieces of shit like this should be allowed to have funerals. They should take his body and put it in the wood chipper asap. throw the remains in the river. there should be no wake for trash like this.

Police: Gunman kills self after on-air slayings - CNN.com

Flanagan was a reporter at WDBJ for about a year using the on-air name, Bryce Williams, according to a former WDBJ employee. He was fired from the station, though the reason was not made public, the ex-employee said.

ABC News reported that it received a fax Wednesday containing a 23-page manifesto from someone named Bryce Williams. They show Flanagan alleging that he had been the victim of bullying and discrimination because he is gay and black.

He also said he was compelled to respond to Dylann Roof's massacre at a Charleston, South Carolina, church in June and he was inspired by both Seung-Hui Cho, who orchestrated the Virginia Tech massacre in 2007, and the teens behind the 1999 Columbine High School killings.

"I've been a human powder keg for a while...just waiting to go BOOM!!!!" ABC quoted the manifesto as saying. "You (deleted)! You want a race war (deleted)? BRING IT THEN YOU WHITE ...(deleted)!!!"

We use fax all day every day for our practice. Don't you still have fax machines at your hospital @Splinty? I sorta feel like the medical industry is the only thing keeping that technology alive.

Someone posted this on twitter and I think it's spot on: "This engine of hate, rage, entitlement that our culture runs on. Maybe we could try to fix that?" The underlying reasoning whyyyyyy so many people here feel so strongly about having guns, what's that about? I mean really, it's not to do with the typical superficial reasonings or arguments for it....something else going on. Something I see in a lot of aspects of our culture here. It IS absolutely a cultural + mental health issue. Anymore, I think 90% of people in this country are certifiably bat shit crazy... I think there's more mental disease/disfunction happening but it's so prevalent that it's now become the norm.
