Ah yes that’s a beauty area. I was underwhelmed at the snowboarding when I went a few years ago. Great snow but runs seemed much shorter than what I ride around here. You living there?
I'd much rather ski revelstoke but that's a 6 hour drive. Louise has best runs compared to mountains close to calgary. Nakiska and norquay are tiny. Sunshine gets good snow, but windy, short runs and cat trails everywhere. End up spending more time on the lifts and cross country skiing than you do on the slopes.
Ya I spent the day at Sunshine. Last few seasons for me at Big White ice lamer most my time in the trees. So fucking fun. You ever try Fernie? I hear it’s amazing.
Never tried Fernie, but it's on my list as well as castle. Heard good things about Fernie. Castle supposed to be good because it rarely gets too busy.
