I'm gonna put jalapenos in there I think.

Off to the store
Wife and I love going out for ceviche and margaritas, so I gave it a shot at home.
Wild Alaskan Cod
Roma tomatoes and cilantro.
Limes.
Lime juice.
Cubed the Cod and added the lime juice.
Tomatoes, white onion, jalapenos and cilantro all prepped.
Combined all ingredients. Seasoned with salt and pepper and put it in the fridge for dinner. Time to take a nap before work.

Lol I love how we all ask the resident Mexican about Mexican stuff.

Cumin and oregano
Two or three types of canned beans if possible
no eggs
jalepenos yes
onions yes...I use them to top the cooked chili and I also cook some in the chili
chili powder yes

beef yes...can be cut pieces of steak if you like that

U probably need some cheese to top it when you put it into your bowl
I only eat ceviche with shrimp and imitation crab in it I don't know anything about ceviche with fish in it. looks good though.
I was just investigating recipes now. If there's no ground beef I'll use steak. Gonna head to the store in town and them the masterclass will commence
Thanks. I've only had it with white fish, so that's why I went with cod. Shrimp sounds good though.
I added to the list...just get most of the stuff on a recipe and wing it a bit
you will make something very tasty and cooking always has a learning curve...starting/attemtping to cook is the most important part
As backup Mexican I have eaten cerviche with fish in it. Many times. Usually from the same place,
I'd say make sure the fish is flakey not big lumps.

sauce for sure...italian would work...or non spiced
paste can help thicken your sauce...not essential though

Sure I should put some sort of oil in there but as far as I can tell I don't have any.
I tried some butter instead.
