registration opened up for non-olympic weight trials the other day...
2-1/2 weeks for that...
i think both boys will be there for that... always an interesting feeling when they are in the same bracket... this season was the first time it has happened and they never hit each other on the mat... might be the last time for them to ever wrestle each other in competition before otto fully outgrows max...
Otto flies out tomorrow for U20 worlds in spain... picked up some stitches yesterday in his chin, but, will be able to pull them before he wrestles monday early AM...

my guy attao finishes with bronze... he dislocated his arm last week at the camp right before the left for spain... was not even sure if he was going to be able to wrestle or not... good for him...
U20 Greco is over for the US now... no one gets pulled back in for repechage from the weights today...
2 silvers and a bronze makes this the most successful worlds for US greco in a minute...

the men's leg grabbing starts this AM...
i don't really follow the women's style so i don't have much to say about the brackets...
my guy Lilledahl at 57kg... cadet gold and silver and junior silver... hands down the best wrestler otto has ever shared the mat with... pumped to see him compete again... flo predicts gold...
bassett at 65kg... the less i say about him the better... i am curious how he does... if you can medal at U20 then all data points say you can medal at seniors, so, i am interested... flo predicts bronze which would be somewhat of a surprise to me...
duke at 70kg is nails... i like watching him wrestle... flo predicts gold...
ryder at 79kg and rademacher at 97kg... not familiar enough with either to say much... flo picks them as bronze and 5th respectively...
