I know it hurts to believe cheating is sometimes involved but it's just a fact of life. Look at boxing. People know it's crooked as hell and there is video evidence of fighter's being KO'ed by punches that never land. Nothing ever happens to the participants.
Zuffa will be speaking with their friends in Vegas. If it was fixed it will come out but you are saying no matter what is determined it was. If determined to be fixed I will admit I was wrong and eat crow. Will you do the same?

At this moment there is nobody that can say the outcome of the fight was fact or fiction. Unless Ken or Kimbo were mic'd up or there is email evidence all of this is purely spectualtion from all sides debating. If something can be proven in the future great but until then its my opinion that it was not a fixed fight.

Oh, and mmahawk most "actual sports media" dont put personal opinion into their reporting so most dont say it, just like in any other sport. Here is a writer for foxsports1 who hosts an mma show "Garbage Time" Host Katie Nolan Thinks Kimbo Slice vs. Ken Shamrock Was a Fix | Bleacher Report There are plenty others, as well as fuck loads of pros, some on this board even.
You keep saying a fuck load of pros. Maybe I'm not seeing it but other than The couple you already mentioned who are the fuck load?

Who cares? This thread is a discussion about whether the Shamrock and Kimbo fight was fixed or not. Why do you and some other people have to bring this shit up in every thread. It's beyond becoming old.

Joe Rogan who has seen a shit load more events and millions of other people dont agree with you, so stop using your "ive seen this many ufc's" logical fallacy. You act like im the only person on the planet saying this lol
I say it to prove I don't hate the UFC. You know using facts instead of opinion. That kind of crazy logic.

What is really staggering is there are a shit load of people in the mma community, Joe Rogan, Vinny Mag, many other pros, writers, who think it was a definite fix, and besides for this board the majority of people on other forums think it was a fix. Yet, on here, the hatred of the UFC is so dense that some people arent even suspect of a fixed fight. They dont even question its authenticity, and will make up shit like "Joe Rogan is just a shill for the UFC" type shit. The reason this thread exists and many others across the internet is because almost everyone who watched it, even people who never watch mma, are saying it looked like a total fake fight. For someone to watch it and not even be suspect of a fix is baffeling.
I would have my tin foil hat on if it wasn't for the cave Kimbo put in Ken's forehead and the grenade he was about to follow up with. Nobody doing a work agrees to something like that. If it were a work, the fight would have ended some other way in my opinion. Thats my take on it...no UFC hatred or Bellator bias involved. Sorry I don't fall in line with the sheep on the UG and Sherdog. I know the members of those forums are authorities on MMA and all, but sometimes I tend to go against popular opinion. I'm wacky like that :)

I would definitely get KO'ed if the price was right and I guarantee I would ask for less than Shamrock did.

Competition between UFC and Bellator is really starting to heat up. It's inevitable that the two will be constantly compared to one another. And a lot of us are excited at the prospect of Bellator making an impact and fixing some things UFC hasn't bother to address for almost a decade.

It's all about growth of the sport. Not necessarily UFC vs Bellator. In the end, we all win.

A KO is the only way they could end this fix. If they decided Kimbo wins, it wasnt going to be by submission lol, and they could never pull off a fix long enough to go to a decision. It actually went perfectly according to how a fix would go. Weird WWE clintch, no punch out, weird 2nd take down that Kimbo stepped into and sat down for, weird super deep choke with no pressure at all, kimbo give his back and neck without defending at all, rolls out easily and gets the story book KO that Ken stuck his head into lol. Watch when Ken applies the WWE sleeper hold rnc, his back and muscles never tense at all. Years of pro wrestling rubbed off lol.

As far as dive or not, I vote no. Again, Coker is not dumb enough to risk something like that. I would attribute the outcome of the fight to two sloppy ass fighters who really had no business headlining a card. Shamrock's glory days are over. He's only been in it for a paycheck the last 10 years.

There's a difference between exaggerating the damage of a punch, and getting "KO'd"...and the shot Kimbo hit Ken with. Look at Ali/Liston for reference. Like I said, if they wanted to put in a work, they could have come up with 15 different ways to end that fight, that are less violent than how it did. I've watched the fight 4 times, in order to have an open mind on the work theories, and I still don't see it. I know Rogan says otherwise but he's said a lot of crazy shit during UFC broadcasts and his podcast as well. I really enjoy his commentary and his podcast, but fucks sake, the guy says Onnit products will change your life. Does anyone really believe that?

Shamrock came back from a 5 year retirement to get one more pay day. Let's say he won, then what? Is he going to take some more fights? Work his way up to a title fight? Hell no. He's done. So if that's his last pay day why not maximize the payout with back room payout for taking a dive. Everyone makes money and Bellator can make some future fights for Kimbo, preferably "exciting", as you defined them, stand up fights. Money, money, money and all the while the casual fan is too stupid to know they're watching fixed fights. People who have followed mma from the start know when something doesn't look right. I can name a couple of fights that looked fixed in the UFC - 1. Silva/Griffin (Griffin gets KO'ed by a jab Silva threw going backwards. Silva was good but not that damn good)....2. Kimbo (once again)/Alexander (what a farce that fight was). So fixed fights happen and when they do it's pretty obvious. I'm sure there are some that aren't so obvious, It depends on how good the actors are.

Wait a second....... Now silva Griffin was a fix too?

Also who paid Ken to take a dive? Was it the illuminati?
