There’s a major “Game of Thrones” plot hole, and just hear me out

they dont disappear in the water. a couople went down. tied the chain around the dragon. and they are probably still at the bottom of that lake

That reminds me. I believe in the books that some slaver ships actually get ship wrecked near Hardholm. I could be wrong, but there was definitely something to do with slavers, ships, and the freefolk around there. Been a while since I read them.

yeah, hardholme happens offscreen in the books. thats one of the best changes from books to show

hardholme has a backstory. there are caves there. its a scary place with many theories about what happened both in the current timeline and in the past

I'm most curious to know why the wights can't swim. It doesn't seem to be magic. Is it that the 'mind control' of the Night King can't penetrate water? Is it because the wights can't "live" above freezing temperature? What is it about water that renders them useless?

I imagine it's s bouyancy issue being dead and all.

why not just walk across the bottom of the body of water, and walk out on the other side?

I think it would be a better plot point if the wights could only exist in sub-freezing temperatures.

the didnt include the valonqar prophecy in the show. the left out that piece, which opens the door to them going a different route with cersei

They had to leave it out because the show has become far too predictable for the fans.

I will get to enjoy some of the episodes/scenes again as she is canning garden goods today and binging on thrones



Some silly CGI and some plot holes/logic holes....But nonetheless the show really is rather amazing

9//10 for me and I am a tough critic

This show has devolved into the most poorly written show on tv. I need to go watch a few episodes of Mad Men to get the stink of this season off me.

Not for me. I felt the Sansa/Arya drama was such manufactured nonsense that I completely lost interest in that storyline.

Kit Harington is really a fantastic actor. The way he pauses after the plea for mercy, and then grimaces in anger before cutting off that fuckwad's head are just brilliant.

There's so much more to acting than simple dialogue...

I thought it was stupid that it even got tense between them.

Apparently there's a scene that didn't make the final cut for episode 7 in which Sansa goes to see Bran and says "we need to talk."

It was supposed to explain Sansa's confusion about whether she should follow Littlefinger's advice or confide in Arya, but there shouldn't have been any confusion from the beginning.
